Dark Cyrus grew into the Game Master giant he is today during Gencon '99 when he hosted a 72 hour marathon Warhammer session in which he managed to get the Father of Roleplaying, Gary Gygax, to play an NPC orc named Grummok. The table seated only eight players but hundreds filled the room to watch as Grummok, a zero level orc, grew to heroic status at the hands of the Master and managed to kill all but one of the players hunting him down. Grummok has become a staple of Dark Cyrus's campaigns.
